Recommended Substrates
- Concrete on (all grade levels) according to ASTM F710 and Preparation of Concrete Subfloors

Application Instructions
- Make sure subfloor is clean, flat, dry, and free of all debris.
- Begin in corner of room, and unroll Quiet Comfort Shield parallel to the wall.
- TIP: Secure the edges of the film with double sided tape to prevent shifting
as the flooring is being installed.

- Overlap seams at least 8”. The edge of the plastic with the adhesive liner should
be the top layer. - Remove the liner from the adhesive strip on the edge of the film and firmly press into place creating a moisture resistant seal.
- Any tears in the film should be sealed with underlayment tape to maintain
moisture barrier.
