Mold and mildew growth on a substrate should be removed before the installation of floorcovering. A qualified agency or company should be contacted in order to determine what type of mold and mildew is present and the best method to use for remediation. After the determination of the type of growth is made and a remediation program followed, new flooring may be installed following AHF Products’ recommendations for subfloor and substrate conditions.
